Playa Órganos is a quiet beach east of Paquera, with calm Gulf of Nicoya water and a more local feel than the better-known beaches near Montezuma. It is the kind of place to bring snacks, swim, and let the afternoon go slack.
Facilities are limited, so do not arrive expecting a full beach town. The reward is space, shade in places, and water that is usually gentler than the open Pacific side of the peninsula.
