Dolphin Tours has been taking boats out of Uvita for more than two decades, into Marino Ballena for humpbacks and spotted dolphins, out to Isla Ballena and the Tres Hermanas rocks for snorkelling, and up the coast for sport fishing.
The humpback seasons are the point: southern-hemisphere animals roughly July to November, northern ones December to March, which is a combination almost nowhere else offers.
