Castillo de Seboruco

The third and largest of the three colonial forts, built between 1739 and 1742 on the hilltop above the town. It is now the Hotel El Castillo, but the public is welcome to walk up for the view from the terrace, which is panoramic — bay, town, and mountain laid out below.

The walk up is steep (a long flight of steps from the end of Frank País street) but quick — fifteen minutes from the cathedral. There is a small swimming pool by the terrace for hotel guests, and a bar that anyone can use.
