Baracoa rewards slow visitors. A morning at the cathedral and a stroll around the colonial centre, an afternoon at Playa Maguana or up the El Yunque trail, an evening on the malecón watching the surf break against the seawall — that's the rhythm. Most of what is worth seeing lies within a half-hour drive of the town centre.
