Playa El Esteron is the quieter beach east of El Cuco, with a broad strand and a more open, less built-up feel. It is a good choice for a long walk, especially when the tide is low and the wet sand reflects the sky.
The beach has a gentler mood than Las Flores, though the Pacific still deserves respect. Come for space, not nightlife.
