San Vicente's cathedral anchors the central square beside the Torre Vicentina. Its broad facade and twin towers are more imposing than the city's modest tourist profile suggests, and the church remains an active part of local life rather than a museum piece.
Step inside if the doors are open; the interior is cool, devotional, and more interesting for its everyday use than for any single masterpiece. The cathedral and tower together make the best short walk in town.
