The Torre Vicentina is San Vicente's signature landmark, a white clock tower standing by the central square. It gives the city a recognisable silhouette and a useful point of orientation, especially when you arrive by bus and the streets all seem to be moving in the same hot direction.
If access is available, climb for a view over the rooftops toward Chichontepec volcano. Even from ground level the tower is worth a stop, particularly in late afternoon when the square fills and the heat begins to loosen its grip.
