Nasaasaaq is the sharp mountain southeast of Sisimiut, the one that gives the town its dramatic inland skyline. The full summit is a demanding hike with steep, exposed sections, but even lower viewpoints give broad views over Sisimiut, Amerloq Fjord, and the tundra behind town.
This is not a casual stroll from the harbour. Go only in suitable weather, carry proper layers, and treat the upper route as a serious mountain outing.
