Tubing on the Río Lanquín is the lazy half-day activity when you are not at Semuc Champey. Local outfitters and lodges arrange tubes and pickups, and the float gives you a slower look at the green valley, with warm air, steep banks, and village life passing at river speed.
It is not a major adventure, but it rounds out Lanquín well. Do it after the caves or on a spare afternoon when the heat makes walking around town feel like work.
