The Treetanic is the strangest bar on the island, and one of the best. The bar is built into and around a tree on the grounds of the Jade Seahorse guesthouse, every surface covered in mosaic, coloured glass and recycled bottles. The drinks are unremarkable but the place is worth a slow visit just to wander through.
It is the work of the American artist Neil Keller, who has been building and rebuilding the structures since the 1990s. Try to come once when it is busy and once when it is quiet.
