The parish church on the green dates from 1820 and is built of cut limestone with a small graveyard behind. The interior is plain and cool, with stained-glass memorials to colonial-era families and a wooden gallery overlooking the nave. Sunday morning service is well attended; weekday afternoons it is usually open and quiet.
The headstones in the graveyard read like a who's who of the parish's English past — Sangster, Henry, Bourke. A short walk and a useful pause from the small bustle of the green.
