Plaza de la Patria is the city's main square and the natural starting point for a walk through central Aguascalientes. The cathedral, government buildings, arcades, and the Exedra column give it the ceremonial feel expected of a Mexican state capital.
It is not the city's most unusual sight, but it ties the centre together. Use it as a landmark, then branch out toward San Antonio, Encino, or San Marcos.
