Teatro Morelos is one of the key historic buildings in central Aguascalientes. Opened in 1885, it later became a major site in the Mexican Revolution, when revolutionary leaders met here after the defeat of Victoriano Huerta.
The theatre is close to Plaza de la Patria and is worth seeking out for both its 19th-century architecture and its role in the 1914 Revolutionary Convention.
