Isla Coronado is the easy island escape from Loreto, close enough for a half- or full-day boat trip but wild enough to feel like the Sea of Cortez proper. The usual visit focuses on beaches, clear water, snorkeling, and views back toward the Baja mountains.
Trips depend on wind and sea conditions. Bring sun protection and do not assume there will be shade once you are ashore.
