Parque Miguel Hidalgo

Shaded central plaza where Tecate slows down around a kiosk, snack stalls, and cafes.

Parque Miguel Hidalgo is Tecate's living room. It is a small, shaded plaza a few blocks south of the border crossing, with a kiosk, benches, food stands, and restaurants on the streets around it.

This is not a grand colonial square, and that is part of the point. Come for a pause between the museum, bakery stops, and the brewery, or to watch the town's ordinary evening life gather under the trees.
