Templo de San Sebastián

Village church on Bernal's main square, framed by the Peña behind the rooftops.

The church anchors Bernal's main square and gives the village its classic postcard view: pale stone, low arcades, and the Peña rising behind everything. It was built in the colonial period and is still the natural starting point for a slow walk through the centre.

The interior is modest, but the setting is lovely. Pause here before heading into the lanes that climb toward the rock.
