Nanciyaga is the easiest rainforest experience from Catemaco. Trails and boardwalks lead through thick lakeside forest, with freshwater springs, hanging bridges, and views back across the water.
The reserve mixes nature tourism with local ritual treatments such as mud masks and cleansings. You do not need to buy into every performance to enjoy the place; the forest setting is strong enough on its own.
