San Andrés Cholula is the younger-feeling side of the city, shaped by university life, restaurants, bars, and newer development. It contrasts nicely with the older civic centre of San Pedro.
Come in the evening for food and drinks, or use it as a base if you want Cholula after the day-trippers leave. It is still close to the pyramid, but the mood is looser and more contemporary.
