Parque Acuático Ixtapan is the town's big commercial expression of its mineral-water identity. Expect heated pools, slides, children's areas, lawns, and the cheerful noise of a Mexican family day out.
It is not subtle, but it is the most complete place in town if you want Ixtapan's waters without booking into a spa hotel. Weekends are busiest.
