This unfinished church is Mascota's most memorable sight. The walls, arches, and plan of the building are still there, but the roof never arrived, so the place reads like a ruin even though it was never a lost archaeological site.
Come early or late, when the light warms the stone and the open nave is quiet. It is a short walk from the plaza and worth lingering over rather than treating as a quick photo stop.
