Paracho's municipal market is a good place to see the town outside its guitar-shop image. Vendors sell produce, prepared food, household goods, and regional crafts, with the busiest atmosphere on market days.
It is also useful for a simple meal before continuing to Uruapan, Pátzcuaro, or the smaller Purépecha villages nearby.
