Miguel Hidalgo Plaza is Mocorito's living room. The square has gardens, a colonial-style gazebo, and sculptures, but its real value is social: this is where the town gathers, especially during Friday plaza nights and local festivals.
Use it as the starting point for the old centre. The church, House of Culture, and small food stops are all close by, so there is no need to treat the plaza as a quick photo stop.
