The Palacio de Hierro is Orizaba's signature building, a prefabricated iron structure brought from Belgium during the Porfiriato and assembled in the city centre. It now holds tourist information and small exhibits, but the building itself is the draw: light, lacy, and wonderfully out of place in a Mexican highland plaza.
