Puente de Dios

Limestone river gorge where the Escanela flows through pools and a natural bridge.

Puente de Dios is the headline nature trip from Pinal de Amoles, a wet hike along the Rio Escanela to a limestone arch, clear pools, and dripping rock walls. The route is beautiful, but it is also popular and access may be controlled by local guides.

Expect to get your feet wet. Shoes with grip matter more than sandals, and it is worth starting early before the narrowest parts of the route fill up.
