Almadía is a useful malecón stop when you want seafood, shade, and a view of the water without turning lunch into an expedition. The setting does much of the work, especially late in the day when the heat starts to soften.
It suits a relaxed beach-town meal: fish, shrimp, cold beer, and a slow walk afterward.
