Museo El Boleo occupies the former administrative building of the French company that created Santa Rosalia. It explains the copper mines, the company town, and the European influence that still shows in the streets around Mesa Francia.
The collection is a good practical companion to a walk through town: miners' tools, office furniture, documents, old telephones, machinery, and locomotives give shape to what would otherwise look like scattered industrial leftovers. Signage is partly in English, but a Spanish guided visit helps if one is available.
