The Iguana Sanctuary is a small green pocket near the river, more of a quick local stop than a formal wildlife reserve. Iguanas and garrobos wander through the trees and paths, often close enough for a good look.
Pair it with the Mexico-Cuba Friendship Museum across the river. Together they make a short, easy loop away from the beach traffic.
