Xcalak's village beach is not a groomed resort strand. Its charm is the calm, reef-protected water and the feeling of being near the end of the road.
Use it for swimming, stand-up paddling, or a lazy snorkel when you do not want a full boat outing. The beach also sets the tone of the village: informal, weather-dependent, and better when you slow down.
