The Xilitla branch of the Museo Leonora Carrington is a natural companion to Las Pozas. Carrington was one of the great surrealists in Mexico, and the museum's sculpture, prints, and drawings give the town's Edward James story a wider artistic context.
It is not a huge museum, but it is exactly the right size for Xilitla: a focused stop in the centre before or after the jungle garden.
