Scuba Coiba opened in Santa Catalina in 2003 and was the first dive centre working Coiba National Park, which in a village this size still counts for something. They run day trips out to the park for certified divers and multi-day trips for people who want to get past the sites everyone sees on a single day.
Coiba diving is not gentle — there is current, and the payoff is the size and number of things in it — so they are straightforward about who should be on which boat.
