Malecon Paseo Las Americas is Arroyo's waterfront boardwalk, lined with simple places for seafood, snacks, and drinks. It is not grand, but it gives the town a relaxed Caribbean edge and a reason to slow down near the water.
Come late in the day if you can. The boardwalk is at its best when the heat drops and local families start using the waterfront as their evening living room.
