The Coffee Museum sits near the plaza on Paseo Aroma de Café, exactly where it should be. It is a small family-run stop, with exhibits on Puerto Rico's coffee history, a cafe, and shelves of local beans and coffee goods.
It will not take half a day, but it gives Ciales its centre of gravity. Stop here before driving into the hills, and the farms and cool mountain air around town make more sense.
