Doolittle's Restaurant and Bar

Named for the 1967 film Doctor Dolittle shot in the bay, Doolittle's is the landmark waterfront restaurant and bar at Marigot Bay. It sits right on the water on the north side of the bay, with tables on an open deck where you can watch the yacht traffic while eating grilled lobster or flying fish cooked Creole-style.

The bar is open through the afternoon and into the evening, drawing both yachties and visitors arriving by road from Castries. Rum punches, local Piton beer, and the view across the still water are the formula. The menu runs heavier on seafood than anything else — the catch comes in fresh and the kitchen doesn't overcomplicate it.
