Getting There

Mayreau has no airport. The only way to arrive is by sea.

The most common route is by water taxi from Union Island, which takes about 20 minutes. Water taxis run on demand rather than fixed schedules; ask at the dock on Union Island. The ferry from St Vincent also calls at Mayreau on some routes, though schedules vary and it is worth confirming in advance.

Most visitors arrive by private yacht. Salt Whistle Bay and the anchorage off the main village are popular stopping points on the Grenadines circuit. The anchorage at Salt Whistle Bay can become crowded during peak season (December to April).
