Frank Stitt's Italian-influenced restaurant on Highland Avenue, more casual than Highlands Bar and Grill but equally focused on quality ingredients. The wood-fired oven produces excellent pizza and roasted dishes, and the pasta is made in-house. The adjoining Bottega Cafe is an excellent option for a lighter meal or just a coffee.
Bottega and Highlands together have made the Highland Avenue strip in Five Points South the most concentrated block of serious dining in the city. Reservations recommended for Bottega; the Cafe usually has walk-in availability.
