Kingman sits at the junction of Interstate 40 and US Route 93, making it a natural crossroads. From Las Vegas it is 100 miles southeast on US-93; from Flagstaff it is 150 miles west on I-40. The drive from either direction takes under two hours.
The Southwest Chief Amtrak train stops at the historic Kingman Railroad Depot — the eastbound train typically arrives in the early hours, the westbound in the early morning. Check Amtrak schedules carefully as the stop is a flag stop in the small hours. Greyhound and Flixbus also serve Kingman with connections to Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.
There is no commercial air service to Kingman. The nearest airports are Las Vegas (Harry Reid International, about 90 minutes northwest) and Phoenix Sky Harbor (about 3 hours southeast).
