Nellie Cashman's Restaurant

Named after Nellie Cashman, the Irish-born entrepreneur who ran a boarding house and restaurant on this block in the 1880s, this is the most historically grounded dining option in Tombstone. The food is straightforward American — burgers, steaks, pie — prepared competently and served in a room that leans into the period decor without overdoing it. Portions are generous.

Nellie Cashman herself was one of the more remarkable figures of the frontier era: she ran businesses across Alaska, Arizona, and the Yukon, was known for feeding miners and prospectors on credit, and outlasted virtually everyone else from Tombstone's boom years. The restaurant does her memory reasonable justice.
