El Presidio Park

Address 115 North Church Avenue, Tucson, AZ

El Presidio Park is the green public square at the heart of downtown Tucson, occupying part of the Plaza de las Armas of the original 1775 Spanish Presidio. Today it is a tree-shaded plaza in front of the old Pima County Courthouse — useful as a starting point for downtown walks, with the Tucson Vietnam Veterans Memorial along the western edge.

The plaza hosts farmers' markets, food festivals and the city's main Día de los Muertos altars. The reconstructed adobe walls of the Presidio San Agustín del Tucsón sit a block north.
