Hugh Norris Trail

The Hugh Norris Trail is one of the best long hikes in the Tucson Mountain District of Saguaro National Park. It climbs through classic Sonoran desert toward Wasson Peak, with saguaro slopes, open ridges, and broad views back across Tucson.

It is a proper desert hike rather than a quick roadside stop, so start early, carry more water than feels necessary, and expect very little shade. Horse riders also use the route.
