Rattlesnake Bridge

Address Broadway Boulevard at Aviation Pkwy, Tucson, AZ

The Rattlesnake Bridge — formally the Diamondback Bridge — is a pedestrian and cycle bridge over Broadway Boulevard, built in the shape of a giant Western diamondback rattlesnake. Walk through its open mouth (with fangs and forked tongue) and out the back end where the rattle clatters in the wind.

Built in 2002 as part of the city's public-art program, it has become an unlikely Tucson landmark. The bridge connects downtown's Iron Horse Park to the Aviation Trail.
