A 50-acre county park immediately east of the racetrack with shaded lawns, a small lake, tennis courts, walking paths, and a playground. It is the everyday local park rather than a destination, but if you want a quiet hour between Santa Anita and the Arboretum it works.
The park is also the venue for community events: free summer concerts on Sunday evenings, the Lunar New Year festival in late January or early February, and an Independence Day celebration in early July.
