The Bigfoot Discovery Museum is not slick, and that is exactly the point. It is a small, eccentric stop with displays on Bigfoot sightings, folklore, and the long tradition of strange stories attached to deep forests.
Treat it as a quick detour rather than the anchor of a day. If you are already driving Highway 9 or visiting Henry Cowell, it adds a bit of valley character that a standard redwood itinerary can miss.
