Old Town Murals

Lompoc's Old Town murals cover walls, corners, and alleys with scenes from local history: Chumash life, the flower industry, railroad days, military aviation, civic celebrations, and Central Coast landscapes. They are not background decoration; they are one of the main ways the town explains itself.

The murals work best as a self-guided walk through the older commercial blocks around H Street and Ocean Avenue. Some are more polished than others, but the group as a whole gives Lompoc a strong sense of place.
