Pismo Preserve

Coastal ridge preserve with oak woodland trails and sweeping views over Pismo Beach.

Pismo Preserve protects 880 acres of coastal hills just inland from town, with more than 10 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The routes move through oak woodland and open ridges, with views back over Pismo, the beach, and the Pacific.

It is the best choice when the beach is windy or you want a real walk rather than a promenade stroll. Trails may close after rain, so check conditions before setting out.
