A 35-storey office tower of 1987 on Avenue of the Stars, Fox Plaza is an ordinary corporate building with one outsized claim on the popular imagination: it played Nakatomi Plaza in Die Hard. Fans still pull up outside to photograph the lobby and the facade, even though the building has never offered tours and remains entirely private.
There is nothing to do here but look — it is a photo stop, best paired with a visit to the adjacent Westfield mall. The surrounding district sits on land that once belonged to the 20th Century Fox studio, whose lot is still next door.
