For many Angelenos, Park's BBQ on Vermont Avenue settles the perennial argument about where to grill in Koreatown. The draw is the quality of the meat — well-marbled prime and wagyu beef, cut and seasoned with more care than the all-you-can-eat houses — cooked at your table over smokeless grills by attentive staff.
It is not cheap by Koreatown standards, and it gets busy enough that a reservation helps at peak times. But the banchan spread is generous, the galbi and marinated short rib are exceptional, and it remains the benchmark everyone else is measured against.
