Christ Cathedral is the former Crystal Cathedral, a vast glass church designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee. It began as the home of Robert Schuller's televised ministry and later became the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange, which makes it an unusual stop for both architecture and religious history.
