Old Town Pasadena

Walkable historic district with shops and restaurants

The revitalized historic core along Colorado Boulevard and the surrounding blocks. The brick facades date to the late 1800s and early 1900s, and the district has been carefully restored without losing its character. Independent bookshops, restaurants, and bars sit alongside some chain stores. The alleys between the main blocks hide some of the best spots — small coffee shops, dessert places, and boutiques. It is one of the few genuinely walkable, pleasant downtown areas in the Los Angeles basin.
