Altamirano-Pedrorena House is an 1869 adobe residence in Old Town San Diego. The building reflects the Mexican and early American layers of the neighbourhood's history, when family homes, shops, and civic life clustered around the old plaza.
It now houses a rock, gem, and jewelry shop, so the visit is brief, but the house is worth noticing while walking between Old Town's larger historic sites.
