Mingei International Museum is a Balboa Park museum focused on folk art, craft, and design from around the world. Its collections and exhibitions emphasize everyday creativity, handmade objects, textiles, furniture, toys, and decorative arts.
The museum is easy to combine with the San Diego Museum of Art, the Fleet Science Center, and the other central Balboa Park museums. The colorful sculptures outside make it especially easy to spot.
